Use the Feature Extraction VIs to extract useful information from the quadratic time-frequency representation of signals.

TFA Mean Instantaneous Frequency VI
Computes the mean instantaneous frequency (MIF) of a signal from its spectrogram. The MIF reveals how the central frequency of the signal changes over time.
TFA Mean Instantaneous Bandwidth VI
Computes the mean instantaneous bandwidth (MIB) of a signal from its spectrogram. The mean instantaneous bandwidth reveals how the frequency bandwidth of the signal changes over time.
TFA Group Delay VI
Computes the group delay of a signal from the spectrogram of the signal.
TFA Marginal Integration VI
Computes the marginal integration of a signal by integrating the spectrogram of the signal along the time axis or the frequency axis.
TFA Fast Mean Instantaneous Frequency VI
Uses the Gabor expansion-based method to compute the mean instantaneous frequency (MIF) for signal. Wire data to the signal input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.
