Viewing a State as a Subdiagram (Statechart Module)

Viewing a state as a subdiagram can simplify the visual appearance of the statechart diagram. Complete the following steps to view a state as a subdiagram.

1. Right-click the border of a state.
2. Select View as Subdiagram.

After you select this option, LabVIEW displays the contents of the state in a separate Statechart Editor window, which you can close. To view this subdiagram again, right-click the state and select Open Subdiagram.

To view a state normally, right-click the state and select View as Subdiagram again to remove the checkmark from this menu item.
