When you design a simulation scene or read and write properties of components in a simulation scene, express values in appropriate units of measurement. The robotics simulator recognizes many of the same SI units and SI-derived units that LabVIEW recognizes, as described in the following table.
| Quantity Name | Unit | Abbreviation |
|---|---|---|
| acceleration (gravity) | meters per second squared | m/s2 |
| frequency (sampling rate) | hertz | Hz |
| latitude, longitude | degree | deg |
| length (altitude, range, position of objects relative to origin) | meter | m |
| mass | kilogram | kg |
| plane angle (rotation) | radian | rad |
Resolution, a quantity associated with simulated sensors, expresses the minimum accuracy of the data being acquired.
