Convert Strain Gauge Reading
Converts a strain gauge voltage to units of strain.

GF
The gauge factor of the strain gauge.
Default: 2

v
Poisson's ratio. This input is required when bridge configuration is set to the following values:
- Half Bridge I
- Full Bridge II
- Full Bridge III
Default: 0

voltage
The voltage read from the strain gauge.
This input supports waveform and double-precision, floating-point data types.

bridge configuration
The type of bridge configuration in which the strain gauge is mounted.
| Name | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Qtr Bridge I | 0 | Specifies a Quarter Bridge Type I configuration. |
| Qtr Bridge II | 1 | Specifies a Quarter Bridge Type II configuration. |
| Half Bridge I | 2 | Specifies a Half Bridge Type I configuration. |
| Half Bridge II | 3 | Specifies a Half Bridge Type II configuration. |
| Full Bridge I | 4 | Specifies a Full Bridge Type I configuration. |
| Full Bridge II | 5 | Specifies a Full Bridge Type II configuration. |
| Full Bridge III | 6 | Specifies a Full Bridge Type III configuration. |
Default: Half Bridge II

Vex
The excitation voltage you use.
Default: 3.33 V

Rg
The strain gauge nominal resistance value in ohms.
Default: 120 Ω

Vinit
The unstrained voltage of the strain gauge after you mount it in its bridge configuration.
Read this voltage at the beginning of your application and save it to pass to this node.
Default: 0

Rl
The lead resistance. In many cases, the lead resistance is negligible and you can leave this terminal unwired.
This input is used when bridge configuration is set to quarter-bridge and half-bridge configurations. This input is ignored when bridge configuration is set to full-bridge configurations.
Default: 0

strain
The return strain value.
This output returns a waveform or double-precision, floating-point data type depending on the data type of the voltage input.
