Applications

An application is a program designed to perform a group of coordinated functions or tasks. A web application is an application that is capable of running in web browsers.

Use an Application document (.gcomp) to create an application from scratch or from existing code. The Application document contains your source files, such as VIs, text files, and other types of files.

You can build your application into HTML, JavaScript, and CSS that you share on web servers and run in web browsers outside the development environment.
