Searching the Table Pane

Complete the following steps to search for any text in the table pane.
- Click Search on the View tab or press <Ctrl+F> to display the Search bar at the bottom of the main window.

In the displayed Search bar, enter any part of a VI
name, an event type, or the text in the other columns in the table pane.
Tip
- Use the asterisk (*) wildcard to return events that contain a certain string.
- Use the caret (^) regular expression to return events that start with a certain string.
- Click Previous or Next to navigate to the event you search for.
