Reviewing Partial Trace Data in an External Application
Desktop Trace Execution Toolkit allows you to open and review any part of trace data in a text editor.
- Select one or multiple events.
- Press <Ctrl-C> to copy the events to the clipboard.
- Launch Microsoft Excel, or a text editor, and open a blank file.
- Press <Ctrl-V> to paste the events from the clipboard.
- Save and close the file containing the events you pasted from the clipboard so that you can view the trace data later without launching the Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit.
