You can open a trace connection from the toolkit or from a LabVIEW VI or project.
Before you can execute a trace session, you must open a trace connection between the Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit and the LabVIEW application instance in which the application you want to debug runs.
After you open a trace connection to a LabVIEW application instance, you can configure and execute trace sessions on applications running in that instance.
