After you select an event, right-click the table pane and select Highlight Paired Events from the shortcut menu to find whether an event is paired with the event you selected.

For example, VI Start Execution and VI Stop Execution are paired events. The Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit also displays the duration between the two paired events in the details pane.
