Complete the following steps to disable special key capabilities for the users or groups that you specify:

In the Advanced keyboard option section, specify the
users or groups you want to disable special key capabilities for.
By default, LabVIEW enables special key capabilities for all users and groups and the Users or groups listbox is not activated. To activate the Users or groups listbox, click Add to add a user or group to this listbox. If the Users or groups is activated, LabVIEW then disables special key capabilities for all users and groups not listed in the listbox. If you want to remove a selected user or group from the Users or groups listbox, click the user or group and click Remove. LabVIEW then disables special key capabilities for the user and group that you removed.Note If the user special key capabilities conflict with the group capabilities, the user capabilities take precedence. The following examples demonstrate different use cases for specifying users and groups in the Users or groups listbox.
- If you want to enable special keys for a specific user in a group and disable special keys for the other users in this group, add the specific user to the Users or groups listbox.
- If you want to disable special keys for a specific user in a group and enable special keys for the other users in this group, add both the group and the specific user to the Users or groups listbox. Click the specific user and place a checkmark in the Disable special keys checkbox.
-
Click the OK button.
