This dialog box appears from the Perforce Project Options dialog box when you click the Browse button next to the Connect as or Open Client Workspace text boxes.

Use this dialog box to navigate to and select a user and client workspace in Perforce if you are configuring source control to work with the Perforce command line interface.

This dialog box includes the following components:

Option Description
Workspace

Contains client and user workspace information in a table. Not all categories appear in both the client and the user workspace.

  • User—Contains a list of user names on the Perforce server.
  • Email—Contains the email addresses for each user on the Perforce server.
  • Full Name—Contains the first and last names for each user on the Perforce server.
  • Access Time—Contains the most recent access time for each user on the Perforce server.
  • Client—Contains the client names on the Perforce server.
  • Mod Date—Contains the most recent date that each client on the Perforce server was modified.
  • Client Root—Contains the path to the directory on the local computer for each client.
Only show clients containing [username]

Place a checkmark in the checkbox if you want to browse only clients that contain the Perforce user name you selected in Connect as in the Perforce Project Options dialog box. This option only appears when you browse clients.
