- Updated2025-07-30
- 2 minute(s) read
Normalizes input data point using the statistical profile (mean, standard deviation) to obtain a Normalized Vector whose statistical profile is (0,1).
This VI is similar to the Normalize VI.

Inputs/Outputs
initialize
—
initialize, when TRUE, initializes the internal state of the VI.
input data point
—
input data point is an input data point.
sample length
—
sample length is the length of each set of incoming data. The VI performs computation for each set of data. The default is 100. sample length must be greater than zero.
Normalized Vector
—
Normalized Vector is the output normalized vector.
standard deviation
—
standard deviation is the standard deviation of the set of input data specified by sample length.
mean
—
mean is the mean value of the set of input data specified by sample length.
error
—
error returns any error or warning from the VI. You can wire error to the Error Cluster From Error Code VI to convert the error code or warning into an error cluster. |
