In the Project Explorer window, right-click a target and select Properties from the shortcut menu to display the target Properties dialog box. Select General from the Category list to display this page.

Use this page to define the name and network address for a target.

This page includes the following components:

Option Description
Name

Defines the name for the target.
IP Address / DNS Name

Defines the IP address or DNS nameserver name for the target.
Allow development for this target with embedded UI enabled

(Real-Time) Enable this option to specify whether the target supports the embedded UI. This option allows development for the embedded UI when the target is offline. If you connect a target that does not support the embedded UI, LabVIEW disables this option.
Note You cannot modify these settings while the target is connected to the project. To disconnect the target from the project, right-click the target in the Project Explorer window and select Disconnect.
