This target runs a Windows Embedded Standard operating system. The Windows Embedded Standard operating system running on this target defines the features supported by the target.

Target Configuration and Properties

You can use NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring on the target to enable remote development. Refer to the NI LabVIEW Remote Development Target Support Readme, available on the target or on the LabVIEW Remote Development Target Support software installer, for information about LabVIEW Remote Development Target Support and how to configure the Windows Embedded Standard target for remote development of LabVIEW applications.

Right-click the target and select Properties from the shortcut menu to open the target Properties dialog box. You can set the name, set the IP address, enable the VI and Web Server, set access privileges, and set other miscellaneous settings for the target.

Note If you change the settings of a target in the target Properties dialog box, you must reconnect to the target for the settings to take effect.

Configuring Target Settings

When you change the settings of a target in the target Properties dialog box, the settings persist in the project but do not propagate to the target until you reconnect to the target. Right-click the target in the Project Explorer window and select Connect from the shortcut menu to reconnect to the target.
