Creating a Custom Palette
The palette provides an organized hierarchy of all the objects you can add to the diagram or panel. Create a palette file (.gpal), or an add-on library, to customize a palette category with the objects in your library. By default, custom categories are added to the Add-ons palette category.
- On the Document tab of a Library document, click Create palette file.

In the
Palette Options dialog box, select the type of palette you want to create.
- G diagram palette—Create a palette containing objects you can drop on the diagram.
- G panel palette—Create a palette containing objects you can drop on the panel.
- Click OK.
- In the palette file, use the options on the Item tab to customize each palette item.
