This page includes the following components:
- Identification—Specifies the conditions to identify a slave device. The software uses the identification conditions to identify a slave device to make the deployment or upload.
- Position address—Identifies a slave device by the position address. This address is the numeric position of the slave device sequentially within the EtherCAT network starting from address 0. You must change the position address when you change the slave device position in the network.
- Parameters—Indicates basic information of a slave device, including the following items:
- E2PROM size (bytes)—Indicates the E2PROM size.
- FMMU number—Indicates the fieldbus memory management unit number.
- Sync manager number—Indicates the synchronization manager number.
- Mailbox protocol support—Indicates the supported mailbox protocol features:
- CANopen over EtherCAT (CoE)
- Ethernet over EtherCAT (EoE)
- File over EtherCAT (FoE)
