Online Master State Dialog Box

Right-click the EtherCAT master item and select Online Master State from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.
If the Online Master State menu item is disabled, check the following items:
- Ensure the target controller is connected.
- Ensure the target item in the project has the correct IP address.
- Ensure the EtherCAT master item has the correct adapter. You can change the physical adapter on the General page of the EtherCAT Master Properties dialog box.
As with the OK button, the Cancel button does not revert your changes in this dialog box.
This dialog box includes the following component:
- Slave device state list—Displays the slave device state. The table includes the following columns:
- Address—Displays the slave device position address.
- Slave Device Name—Displays the slave device name.
- State—Displays the slave device state.
- Error—Indicates whether an error has occurred in the slave device.
You can also leverage the NI Scan Engine, change to the slave device state, or change the NI Scan Engine mode.
