Zooming and Scrolling Curve Areas
Use the zoom and scroll functions in DIAdem VIEW to zoom curve areas and to scroll along a curve. To zoom a certain area of a curve with the band cursor, complete the following steps:

Select the DIAdem VIEW panel.

Select File»New.

Select one or more channels in the Data Portal.

Drag and drop the selected channels into the DIAdem workspace.

Select 2D Axis System.
![]() | Note If you select only one channel in the Data Portal, DIAdem displays this channel with the channel index. If you select several channels, the channel selected first is the x-channel. If you select waveform channels, DIAdem displays the waveform channels with their x-parts. |

Select Band Cursor.

Move the mouse cursor over the two band cursor lines one by one. The cursor changes into a double arrow when it moves over a line.

Press the mouse button to move the lines into the area that you want to zoom in the axis system.

Click Zoom In repeatedly to enlarge the selected area.

Click Zoom Off to view the entire curve again.
To scroll along the curve in the zoomed area, complete the following steps:

Right-click the axis system and select New Area»Bottom. DIAdem creates a new workspace under the existing axis system.

Drag and drop the curve symbol in the legend of the top curve into the bottom area.

Select 2D Axis System.

Click Scroll in Cursor Range in the bottom workspace.

Click and drag the band cursor in the top workspace to scroll the zoomed curves in the bottom workspace.
