Playing Waveform Channels
Click the loudspeaker symbol in the Channel preview to play waveform channels in the Data Portal. Complete the following steps to play a waveform channel from the Example.tdm data set:

Select DIAdem NAVIGATOR.

Click File»New.

Open the file browser and select the data set Example.tdm in the user folder.

Drag and drop the Example.tdm data set into the Data Portal.

Select a waveform channel, for example, Noise_1.

Click the loudspeaker symbol in the top right area of the Data Portal channel preview to enable the loudspeaker. DIAdem plays the waveform channel immediately.
![]() | Note To play waveform channels, the property Waveform x-unit must be a time unit and the property Waveform x-stepwidth must be greater than 5.208333 µs. The channel must be completely accessible in the computer memory and not just registered. |
