Configuring I/O Channels
- Open the I/O Configuration table.
- Select the appropriate channel in the digital inputs, digital outputs, or analog inputs table.

Click the channel name in the
Name column to rename the channel, if necessary.
Note You must use the channel name set in the I/O Configuration table when programming output values and transitions.
- Click the cell in the Configuration column to select the configuration type for that channel.
- Update the I/O parameters, as necessary.
- Repeat steps 2 through 5 for all connected channels.

Verify that you have done the following:
- Set a default value for all configured digital outputs.
- Selected Module failsafe for applicable fault diagnostics.
- Set a default value for all variables.
