To set up logging NI-XNET CAN/LIN frames, refer to Logging Incoming NI-XNET
Frames in the VeriStand Manual.
Tip Use a unique log name for each device or DUT in your test system when
assigning the destination path in the data logging file. For example, Raw Data
Logs DUT 0.
Tip When configuring the
destination directory, you can use the custom asset tokens to save the log files in
a unique file path. For example, use the custom asset working path token as shown in
the Destination field in the following figure.
Refer to
Generating Unique Paths for Working and Archive Directories for Each
DUT for more information about custom asset tokens.

Tip Configure your XNET logging to log data into segmented files based on a
time or size limit. This allows your log files to be archived and moved to
SystemLink.
The Battery Test System Software provides tokens that you can use in the VeriStand system definition file. Use the tokens as a folder path for any custom asset files generated by VeriStand add-ons or custom devices (for example, TDMS log files generated by the NI-XNET VeriStand Addon) to publish files to SystemLink.
