Use a pin filter to select which sites and system pins to view in an instrument panel. Pin filtering improves navigation in a panel.

Before you apply pin filtering, you must select an active project pin map. For more information, see Set an Active Project Pin Map.
  1. Click the Pin Filter button (Icon of the Pin Filter button with horizontal lines and a rectangle.) in your device or the instrument panel.
  2. Enable the pins that you want to view in your panel.
  3. Click OK.
Your panels now display configuration settings for pins that you select in the pin filter. The measurement panels also display measurements for those pins only. Information about hidden and non-idle pins appears under the Pins section of the panel.
Note Non-idle pins are pins that are not visible in the filtered view, but are still active.
Note InstrumentStudio saves the pin filter state in the instrument panel when you close the panel. When you re-open the panel, InstrumentStudio automatically restores the pin filter state.
