DAQLogging Properties

The DAQLogging type exposes the following members.

 | ActionOnNew | Gets or sets the location to log data when the DAQTaskAI begins a new acquisition. |
| BaseNodeType | Gets a reference to the internal representation of this node. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| Description | Gets or sets the description of this node. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| FilenameBase | Gets or sets the base string used in log filenames. Use this property when UseTaskAsFilename is false (False in Visual Basic) to specify a filename base other than the task name. |
| GroupName | Gets or sets the group name to which the task logs data in the TDMS file. Use this property when UseTaskAsGroupName is false (False in Visual Basic) to specify a group name other than the task name. |
| LogDirectory | Gets or sets the directory in which to save log files on the target. |
| LoggingEnabled | Gets or sets a value indicating whether the Logging Enabled DAQTaskCommand channel is allowed to start and stop logging. Note that this property does not toggle logging; the Logging Enabled channel toggles logging. |
| LoggingMode | Gets or sets whether data is available to components in the NI VeriStand system while you log it. This property valid only if LoggingEnabled is true (True in Visual Basic). |
| Name | Gets the name of this node. To rename a node, use the RenameNode method. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| NodeID | Gets the ID of this node. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| NodePath | Gets the path to the node within the system definition file. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| SamplesPerFile | Gets or sets a limit to the number of samples per channel to log to the current file when SpanMultipleFiles is true (True in Visual Basic). This property not active if SpanMultipleFiles is false (False in Visual Basic) because NI VeriStand logs to the current file without limiting the number of samples. |
| SpanMultipleFiles | Gets or sets a value indicating whether to create a new log file when you reach the SamplesPerFile limit. |
| TimestampFilename | Gets or sets a value indicating whether to append timestamps to the log filenames. |
| TypeGUID | Gets the GUID associated with the node. Attempts to set the GUID of a BaseNode will generate an exception. (Inherited from BaseNode.) |
| UseTaskAsFilename | Gets or sets a value indicating whether to use the DAQTask name from the system definition as the base of log filenames. |
| UseTaskAsGroupName | Gets or sets a value indicating whether to use the DAQTask name from the system definition as the group name under which data is logged in the TDMS file. |
