Use the Sequence Call step to call another sequence in the current sequence file or in another sequence file. The Sequence Call step always uses the Sequence Adapter .

Configuring the Step

Use the Sequence Call Module edit tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor and the Edit Sequence Call dialog box in a TestStand User Interface to configure the Sequence Call step.

Step Properties

The Sequence Call step type does not define any additional step properties other than the common custom properties all steps contain. TestStand adds the following properties at runtime to the results for Sequence Call steps in sequences you configured to run in a new thread or execution.

• AsyncMode —Set to True when the Sequence Call step ran the sequence in a new thread. Set to False if the Sequence Call step ran the sequence in a new execution.
• AsyncID —The value of the ID property of the thread or execution running the sequence.
