Click the Advanced Settings button on the LabVIEW NXG Module tab of the Step Settings pane to launch the LabVIEW NXG Advanced Settings window.

In the LabVIEW NXG Advanced Settings window, you can configure the LabVIEW NXG adapter to always run the VI using the LabVIEW NXG Run-time engine.

The LabVIEW NXG Advanced Settings window contains the following:

• Always Run VI in LabVIEW NXG Run-Time Engine —When you enable this option, you can always use a LabVIEW NXG Run-time engine (RTE) to run the VI, regardless of the global LabVIEW NXG Adapter setting. Use this option when you do not want the global settings for the adapter to affect the tools and step types you create.
