Initiate Operation

The Initiate operation initiates an acquisition. After calling this operation, the oscilloscope leaves the idle state and waits for a trigger. The oscilloscope acquires a waveform for each enabled channel. This operation does not check the instrument status. Typically, this operation is only called in a sequence of calls to other low-level driver operations, such as the Fetch operation.
