Get System Affinity Operation

Use the Get System Affinity operation to obtain the default system affinity mask. This affinity mask represents the CPUs available to the system and cannot be changed. Select the Get System Affinity option on the CPU Affinity Step Configuration dialog box to display the Get System Affinity operation settings.

The Get System Affinity operation contains the following option:

• Location to Store System Affinity Mask (numeric value) —The location to store a numeric value that is the affinity mask for the system. The mask is represented as a numeric value. For example, a value of 10 ( 0b00001010 ) represents CPUs 2 and 4 in a quad-core system.
