Insert an Auto Schedule step and select Edit Auto Schedule Settings or Step Settings from the context menu to display the Auto Schedule Settings edit tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor .

The following operations are available when you use the Auto Schedule step type:

• Timeout Enabled, Timeout Expression, Timeout Causes Run-Time Error —The timeout behavior TestStand uses when Use Auto Scheduled Resource blocks within the Auto Schedule block can acquire the required resource locks. If a timeout occurs, the Step.Result.TimeoutOccurred property is set to True .
• Display Execution Scheduling Information in Step Description —When you enable this option, the step description in the Execution window of the sequence editor or a TestStand User Interface contains information about the scheduling of the execution of the various Use Auto Scheduled Resource blocks within the Auto Schedule block.
