Add or Remove Items From LabVIEW Project Dialog Box
Click the Add or Remove VIs from LabVIEW Project button on the LabVIEW Module tab of the Step Settings pane or in the Edit LabVIEW VI Call dialog box to launch the Add or Remove Items From LabVIEW Project dialog box.
Right-click the LabVIEW project item you want to add or remove to display a context menu.
- My Computer —Creates a new VI, a new LabVIEW virtual folder, or adds an existing VI to the project. If you create a new VI, the LabVIEW Adapter creates a code shell for the VI. If the project item you select does not already exist, the LabVIEW Adapter creates it. If the file exists, the LabVIEW Adapter prompts you to overwrite the existing file. If a VI code template exists for the step type defined for the step, the LabVIEW Adapter uses that code template to create the new VI.
- Virtual Folder —Creates a new VI, a new LabVIEW virtual folder, adds an existing VI to the project, or removes the item from the project.
- VIs —Edits the VI or removes it from the project.
When you click the Select button, the Add or Remove Items From LabVIEW Project dialog box selects the active VI. However, clicking the Done button does not revert changes to the project.
The LabVIEW Adapter uses the last selected VI to configure the step.
