Setting Target Parameters in Target Configuration Lists

Set target parameters in Target Configuration Lists through a CSV file.

Creating a CSV File for Target Configuration Lists

Create the CSV file to upload to the RTG in Target Configuration Lists.

Each row of the file sets the configuration and synchronization for the targets—three for the Pulse Aware personality and four for Pulse Invariant personality.

  1. Create the CSV file as a comma-delineated text file or in a spreadsheet.
  2. Configure columns one and two as indicated in the following table.
Table 32. Target Configuration Lists CSV File Structure, Column 1 and 2
    Column Name Allowed Values
    Synchronization Mode String
    • Software Trigger
    • Hardware Trigger
    • Time Offset Relative to First
    • Time Offset Relative to Last
    • Pulse Rising Edge
    • Pulse Falling Edge
Synchronization Time Offset Floating point in seconds (s) representing the amount of time from the configuration change trigger (based on synchronization) until the configuration occurs.
  3. Configure columns three through seven as indicated in the following table.
Note Enter 0 for any unused target parameters.

    Column Name Allowed Values
Target Time Offset Floating point in seconds (s) representing the delay for a target relative to the radar pulse.
Attenuation Floating point in decibels (dB)
    Doppler Floating point
    • In Hz when Relative Velocity is set to 0
    • In m/s when Relative Velocity is set to 1
    Relative Velocity Boolean
    • 0 (False)
    • 1 (True)
    Target Enable Boolean
    • 0 (Disabled)
    • 1 (Enabled)
  4. Repeat the columns listed in step 3 for every active target. Enter 0 for any unused target parameters.
  5. Save the file as .csv on the RTG controller.
