RPDSsc is intended to run on datacenter-grade servers with high PCIe bandwidth, CPU core counts, memory capacity, and number of NVMe slots. NI has verified the performance of RPDSsc on the following server hardware.

Data Storage Server

Provides data storage for the system. Up to two data storage servers.

  • Model—Dell PowerEdge R7625 (NVMe backplane)
  • Processors—AMD EPYC 9354 3.25 GHz, 32C/64T, 256M Cache (280 W) DDR5-4800
  • Memory—16 GB single rank 5600 MT/s (16x)
  • Storage—3.2 TB Mixed Use AG NVMes (minimum of 5x per simultaneous data stream)
  • NICs—Mellanox ConnectX-6 DX Dual Port 100 GbE QSFP56 Network Adapter, Low Profile
  • Cooling—Very high performance fans
