Use the Instrument Controller (ICsc) to self-calibrate the VSTs in your system.
Note The ICsc window should be open on
the host computer from a shortcut place at: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup when ICsc is installed.
-
Click Launch VST Self-Calibration in the NI
ICsc window.
Note NI recommends that no external signals are transmitted to the RF input port during self-calibration.

Clicking START disables the controls. The self-calibration status updates from Ready, to Active, to Calibration Complete. An error message displays if an error occurs.Note Self-calibration duration depends on configuration.
- Multi VST—Duration is approximately 30 minutes per VST. Self-calibration occurs sequentially following the order of the INSTRUMENTS array control.
- Independent VST—Duration is approximately 30 minutes. All VST self-calibration occurs in parallel.
- Close the ICsc Self-Calibration window.
Note Independent LO configurations can
also perform self-calibration in InstrumentStudio. Refer to Self-Calibrating the

information. Self-calibrating the VSTs in InstrumentStudio is approximately 30 minutes per
