Complete the following steps to export and import the strings to localize a VI.

When importing strings from an XLIFF file, LabVIEW logs warnings if there are missing tags, but it imports the remaining strings if the XML structure is valid. When importing from a VI string file, LabVIEW does not import strings if the file contains unknown or missing tags. Your VI string file might contain unknown or missing tags if you incorrectly localize VI strings or modify the VI between exporting your strings and importing your translation.
