NeoDB for PostgreSQL 是一款適用於 LabVIEW 的軟體外掛程式，提供了透過 TCP/IP 與 PostgreSQL 資料庫通訊的所需功能，而非使用開放資料庫連線 (ODBC) 驅動程式進行通訊。您可以向 PostgreSQL 資料庫傳送選擇、更新、刪除、移動、提取、複製、建立表格與其他指令。此外掛程式亦支援對使用者密碼的 SCRAM、MD5、明文與信任加密。如果 NI 即時系統相容於在 PharLap、VxWorks 或 NI Linux Real-Time 作業系統 (RTOS) 上執行的 LabVIEW Real-Time Module，您可以在該 NI 即時系統上使用 NeoDB for PostgreSQL。此外，在使用 NI Linux Real-Time 操作系統時，您還可以將 PostGreSQL 資料庫存儲在遠端 PC 上。此外掛程式不包含 PostGreSQL 資料庫。 Linux® 註冊商標的使用方式係根據 LMI 的轉授權許可；Linus Torvalds 持有此商標在全球的擁有權、LMI 則取得了 Linus Torvalds 的獨家授權。
