The CAN Protocol Validation Software is a software add-on that supports the Controlled Area Network (CAN) asynchronous, 2-wire serial communication protocol. You can use the CAN Protocol Validation Software with PXIe-657x PXI Digital Pattern Instruments to validate device compliance with the timing and electrical specifications of the CAN protocol. You also can use this add-on to validate device tolerance to and recovery from CAN faults and exceptions, and create comprehensive test pass/fail reports. Additionally, the software add-on supports automation from external programming environments and automation frameworks such LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, Python, and more.
