LabVIEW Teaching Only Licenses

For use in the classroom, computing lab, or teaching laboratory to add hands-on learning across multiple science and engineering disciplines. Educators may also install software on their personal computers for curriculum preparation.

  • Small - used on all computers in a small-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a department or school)
  • Medium - used on all computers in a medium-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a faculty or college)
  • Large - used on all computers in a large-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a singular geographic campus)

 

LabVIEW Teaching and Research Licenses

For use in the classroom, computing lab, or teaching laboratory to add hands-on learning across multiple science and engineering disciplines, as well as in Academic Research settings. Educators and researchers may also install software on their personal computers for curriculum preparation and research purposes.

  • Small - used on all computers in a small-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a department or school)
  • Medium - used on all computers in a medium-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a faculty or college)
  • Large - used on all computers in a large-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a singular geographic campus)

 

LabVIEW Research Only Licenses

For use in an academic research laboratory setting. Researchers may install the software on their personal computers for research purposes.

  • Academic Suite - for a single researcher
  • 5 User - used in a small research lab for up to 5 users
  • 10 User - used in a small to medium research lab for up to 10 users

 

Multisim Teaching Only Licenses

For use in the classroom, computing lab, or teaching laboratory to add hands-on learning in the electrical, power, and electronic engineering concepts. Educators may also install software on their personal computers for curriculum preparation.

  • Small - used on all computers in a small-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a department or school)
  • Medium - used on all computers in a medium-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a faculty or college)
  • Large -used on all computers in a large-sized, negotiated boundary within an academic institution (i.e. a singular geographic campus)

 

Student Install Options

Added to Academic Site License Teaching or Teaching and Research contracts that are active on Standard Service Program (SSP) to permit undergraduate students to install and activate software on their personal computers for learning purposes.

  • LabVIEW Student Install Option - includes LabVIEW Student Edition and all toolkits and modules from a LabVIEW Academic Site License
  • Multisim Student Install Option - includes Multisim and Ultiboard Education Edition
  • NI Student Install Option - includes all software from LabVIEW and Multisim Student Install Options (require an active LabVIEW and Multisim Academic Site License)
