Description | Demos | Evaluate | Documentation | System Requirements | Pricing and Purchasing DescriptionWith the LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit, you can pinpoint VI improvements to make in the UI design, block diagram code, documentation, and VI properties and settings to enhance performance, usability, and maintainability. This toolkit provides 58 different tests you can run on any VI to quickly learn how to build better applications. Though you do not have to implement the test recommendations, you may find that regular VI Analyzer Toolkit use improves your LabVIEW applications. After you create LabVIEW VIs, use the LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit to learn how to optimize them. Run the toolkit interactively from the LabVIEW Tools menu or programmatically using the LabVIEW API. In both cases, you have control over which tests you run on each VI you select. Once you make your selections, the VI Analyzer Toolkit loads each test into memory and then runs the tests on each of your selected VIs. While this process takes a little longer to start the tests, it makes running the tests much faster and more efficient. The toolkit generates a report listing all the possible VI improvements the tests identified. The report, categorized by VI, helps you focus on one VI at a time. The VI Analyzer provides the following for each individual recommendation:
You can choose the improvements you want to make and then rerun the tests. You also can save your test configuration to run the same tests later. Additionally, you can save the report as either a text file or as an HTML document, so you can reopen it at any time and share it with other developers or store it along with the VIs in a source code control utility.
