Leverage the Powerful TestStand Sequence Editor

The standard TestStand Sequence Editor is extended by TestStand Semiconductor Module, providing you with powerful debugging capabilities. TestStand integrates with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as LabVIEW and Visual Studio so you can easily author, automate, and debug instrument control, measurement, and analysis code written in both LabVIEW and .NET.

Easily Develop Multisite Test Programs

With the DUT-centric, dynamic multisite programming paradigm, write instrument control, measurement, and analysis code that scales from one site to 32 sites. One or more specific sites can be disabled dynamically in response to poor yield of one or more faulty tester sockets. The included Pin Map Editor helps you to define the relationship between device under test (DUT) pins and instrument channels. Make measurements with per-site instruments or with measurement systems connected to multiple sites through complex switching schemes.

Optimize Test System Performance

The TestStand Execution Profiler records events that describe state changes in lock and other synchronization operations. In addition to identifying resource contention, the profiler graphically displays step execution time. With this powerful tool, you can investigate the test time impact of individual steps on the overall DUT test time.

Ensure Test Code Quality

The TestStand Sequence Analyzer finds errors, enforces custom development guidelines you establish, and gathers statistics about workspace files, sequence files, directories, type palette files, station global files, template files, and user files during or before deployment. The analyzer uses a built-in set of rules and analysis modules to examine the files you specify and generate messages that correspond to each issue found. The rules are designed to detect, at edit time, the most common situations that can cause run-time failures.
