For this reason, NI warranty and repair services are designed to protect your investment, fix your maintenance costs, and minimize unexpected, costly downtime. Extended WarrantiesTo meet the life-cycle requirements of your project, NI offers options for extending the standard product warranty of the devices in your system. Extended warranties from NI give you the ability to fix your hardware maintenance costs for two or more years at a low cost, avoiding the complications of unexpected expenses in the future. Extended warranties for one or more additional years are available. In addition, because NI understands that your requirements may change, extended warranties are not only flexible in length, they may be renewed or transferred as well. Repair ServicesWhile you may never need to have your hardware repaired, NI understands that things do happen that lead to necessary repairs. For this reason, NI offers repair services that are performed in a timely manner by highly trained, factory technicians using only original parts at one of the NI service centers. Repair services include parts, labor, materials, and basic calibration of your device. Typical turnaround time for repairs in North America and the European Union is 10 working days. When time is at a premium, NI offers next-on-bench and advanced replacement services. These services expedite your repair. In addition, NI can provide a detailed repair report explaining the complete nature of the repair.1 If you need to return your hardware for repair, please contact NI to obtain a return material authorization (RMA) for repair.
