The LabVIEW 2012 FPGA Module f1 Patch is available as a patch for the LabVIEW 2012 Development environment. The patch fixes the issue below. It is strongly recommended for all LabVIEW 2012 FPGA Module installations. It is also highly recommended that LabVIEW 2012 FPGA Module customers install the LabVIEW 2012 f3 Patch. Both are available via Update Service, or through Drivers and Updates.

ID Description
366114 DMA FIFO replaces data with zeros in certain configurations.

When a DMA FIFO is configured to one of the configurations shown below, the stream will yield bursts of good data interleaved with bursts of zeros. The user has no way of knowing they are receiving bad data. The issue only affects the LabVIEW 2012 FPGA Module.

Only FIFOs with the following configurations are affected:

FIFO Type Element Size (Bits) Number of Elements Per Write FIFO Depth (Elements)
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 8 2 128 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 8 2 256 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 8 4 256 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 16 2 128 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 16 2 256 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 16 4 256 K
Target-to-Host / Peer-to-Peer Writer 32 2 128 K
