This LabVIEW example shows how to perform a simple analog level trigger with pre-trigger samples in software using DAQmx. Triggering is especially important in measurements such as an impact test where you are only interested in the data around the impact time. This is for programmers using the USB-9233 (which does not have hardware analog triggering) who want to perform an impact test.
