Description

This installer is the first release of the Functional Safety Editor. Search to find out if a patch or more recent version is available.

Functional Safety Editor September 2017 installs software for creating a User Program that can run on the NI 9350 module. This is a standalone development environment. This version of the editor supports Windows 7 (64-bit), Windows 8.1 (64-bit), and Windows 10 (64-bit).

Installation Instructions

If you want to create User Programs, install the Functional Safety Editor. The Functional Safety Editor is a standalone development environment and can be installed before, after, or without the below list of software components.

To deploy and monitor User Programs, install these applications in the order listed:

  1. Install LabVIEW 2017.
  2. Install LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2017.
  3. Install NI CompactRIO Device Drivers May 2017 (17.0).

Note: To verify which versions of the NI-RIO driver are compatible with your version of LabVIEW refer to NI-RIO and LabVIEW Compatibility page.
