Unzip (G Dataflow)

Last Modified: January 12, 2018

Unzips the contents of a zip file to a specified directory.

Set preview only to True to preview the list of files in zip file before you unzip the zip file. This node cannot unzip a file that is password protected.

connector_pane_image
datatype_icon

zip file

Path to the zip file that you want to unzip.

datatype_icon

preview only

Boolean value that determines whether the node displays the files in zip file without unzipping the zip file.

True The node does not unzip zip file and preview displays a list of the files in the zip file.
False The node unzips zip file and preview displays a list of the files in the zip file.

Default: False

datatype_icon

target directory

Path to the directory where the files in zip file will be unzipped.

If you specify a path that includes a filename, the node strips the filename from the path and unzips files to the resulting directory.

Default: Directory that contains the zip file

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

unzipped files

List of the files that the node unzips.

datatype_icon

preview

List of the paths to the files in zip file.

datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.

Where This Node Can Run:

Desktop OS: Windows

FPGA: This product does not support FPGA devices

Web Server: Not supported in VIs that run in a web application
