Returns the rank of a matrix. MathScript determines the numerical rank according to the number of singular values larger than the tolerance.

Tolerance of a. tol is a scalar. If you do not specify tol, MathScript computes the tolerance using the following equation: tol = max(size(a))*(norm(a)*eps. eps is defined by the following equation: eps= 2^(-52) = 2.22e-16.
