convmx

Version:
    Last Modified: March 15, 2017

    Computes the convolution matrix of an input vector.

    Syntax

    c = convmx(a, b)
    Legacy name: convmtx

    Inputs

    a

    Input vector. If a is a column vector and d is a column vector of length b, then convmx(a, b)*d is the same as conv(a, d). If a is a row vector and d is a row vector of length b, then d*convmx(a, b) is the same as conv(d, a).

    b

    Size of the output matrix.

    Outputs

    c

    Convolution matrix.

    y = convmx(1:10, 5)
