x

The value to decrement by 1. x supports the following data types: scalar numbers, enumerated type values, an array or cluster of numbers, and an array of clusters of numbers.

Data Type Changes on FPGA

When you add this node to a document targeted to an FPGA, this input has a default data type that uses fewer hardware resources at compile time.

x - 1

The result of the decrement operation.

Behavior for Enum Data

All arithmetic functions except Increment and Decrement treat enum data the same as an unsigned integer. Decrement changes the first enumerated value to the last value.

Where This Node Can Run:

Desktop OS: Windows

FPGA: All devices (only within an Optimized FPGA VI)
