MT Auto Configure CCDF (G Dataflow)

Returns the recommended I/Q acquisition settings to use with MT Compute CCDF. The recommended settings provide a set of values to configure the NI 5650/5651/5652 for acquiring the input complex waveform to calculate the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF).

lowpass filter bandwidth

The bandwidth, in Hertz (Hz), of the lowpass filter. The lowpass filter is the front-end digital filter that is applied to the acquired signal. Use the filter to remove the out-of-band signal content before computing the CCDF.

Number of records to acquire.

The number of records to acquire is computed using the following equation:

Number of records = ceiling (count/(sampling rate * measurement interval)).

The time, in seconds, to use to acquire a single record in the CCDF calculation.

The delay, in seconds, from the trigger event to determine the start of the measurement interval.

Error conditions that occur before this node runs. The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

A value that indicates the type of filter to use for filtering the samples before calculating the CCDF.

Number of records to acquire.

The number of records to acquire is computed using the following equation:

Number of records = ceiling (count/(sampling rate * measurement interval)).

sampling rate

Recommended sample rate, in Hz. The sample rate is returned based on the value of the lowpass filter bandwidth parameter, even if you set the lowpass filter type parameter to None.

acquisition time

Amount of time per record to acquire the input complex waveform, in seconds. This value might be larger than the measurement interval and takes into account measurement filter and processing delays.

pre-trigger delay

Amount of time, in seconds, before the trigger. This value accounts for delays in the measurement process.

post-trigger delay

Amount of time, in seconds, between the trigger and the acquisition process. This value is used when the actual signal to be measured is generated after the trigger.

Minimum time, in seconds, during which the signal must remain below a certain value to trigger.

Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function Measurement

The complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) is a statistical characterization of time-domain waveform that completely describes the power characteristics of a signal.

A CCDF graph relates average signal power (x-axis) to signal power statistics (y-axis) such that each point on the CCDF curve shows how much time a signal spends at or above a given power level. The power level is expressed in dB relative to the average signal power level.
