DFT Configuration

You can configure the DFT node to perform forward or inverse transforms at various transform lengths, also known as point sizes. The DFT node supports common transform lengths for LTE applications.

Fixed-Point Implementation

If you do not connect any floating-point wires to the DFT node, the DFT node automatically uses an optimized fixed-point implementation. The fixed-point implementation of the DFT node supports complex inputs between 8 and 18 bits wide. The DFT automatically expands output width to accommodate maximum internal bit growth.
