is_real

    Determines whether an array is real. A number is real if and only if in a=Re(a)+Im(a)*i, the second term Im(a) is 0. An array is real if and only if all elements in that array are real.

    Syntax

    c = is_real(a)
    Legacy name: isreal

    Inputs

    a

    Scalar or array of any dimension of any data type.

    Outputs

    c

    1 if a is a real scalar or array. Otherwise, the function returns 0. c is a Boolean.

    C = is_real([5+0i, 7, 6, 789-8.3i])
    C = is_real('der')
