The Expression Parser for LabVIEW helps you convert math from text to numbers in your LabVIEW applications at runtime.

The Expression Parser for LabVIEW is a software add-on that you can use tobuild a mathematical expression dynamically on the block diagram and evaluate it numericallyat runtime. You can have the user type in math expressions directly on the front panel and have the Expression Parser for LabVIEW verify syntax, or you could read math expressions from a file at runtime to modify your program behavior. This add-on supports more than 260 functions and mathematical constants. The add-on supports conditionals, pulse trains, piecewise-defined, and custom periodic functions. Additionally, The Expression Parser for LabVIEW supports variables, VI Registers, and 14 numeric data types, and it reports overflow during evaluation. The add-on also includes an Expression Tester application.
